Bringing the School’s Vision to Life Through Video and Photography

This project was shot over two days, capturing a blend of high-quality video and photography. We worked closely with the team at Birchwood Primary School to understand and realise their specific vision, ensuring the final content was a true reflection of their community.

The Objective

The school wanted to strengthen its website with purposeful content that went beyond written messaging. The goal was to clearly communicate who they are, what they stand for, and how the school operates day-to-day.

The Approach

By spending two full days on-site, we were able to capture an authentic view of the school’s culture and energy. The film and photography were designed to speak directly to prospective parents, pupils, and potential partners. Through considered storytelling and capturing natural, unscripted moments, we positioned Birchwood as a confident, caring, and ambitious environment for education.

“Mike was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Right from the beginning, he took the time to get to know our school with a pre-visit, really understanding who we are and what makes Birchwood special. He supported us brilliantly in drafting and writing the script, listening carefully to everything we wanted and managed to capture the very heart of our school - our values, ethos and sense of community - in just three minutes.

The filming days were fantastic, Mike made everyone feel comfortable and confident, working around the needs of the children without disrupting learning. The children adored him and loved showing him around the school; his patience and warmth shone through the whole process.”
